Walking together: 15-25km for Barnabus

Hi Everyone! We are a passionate group of 6, dedicated to making a difference for people experiencing homelessness. As part of our event management module at MMU for semester 2, we are designing and executing a Bingo Bonanza event (insta: @unityeventsmcr) for the charity - Barnabus, an incredible homeless charity supporting those in need with vital services and shelter in Manchester. We are raising money to provide us funds to be able to produce our event, so we will be completing a walk covering between 15-25km around Manchester - a symbolic reflection of the 15 to 25 people Barnabus sees everyday at their support centre.

Why are we doing this? Because homelessness is a growing crisis, and no one should have to sleep rough. As a result, Barnabus provides one-to-one support, street outreach providing food, drink and clothing as well as a drop in centre offering showers, clothing and support to those experiencing homelessness and we want to do our part to help.

The funds we raise from this GoFundMe will go towards hosting an exciting Bingo Bonanza fundraising event, where 100% proceeds and any leftover donations from our fundraising walk will be donated to Barnabus - ensuring we can raise as much as possible for this incredible cause.
