On the weekend of the longest day, I’ll be walking as closely as possible around the full perimeter of Isaac Newton Ward to raise money for The Royal British Legion.

Isaac Newton is a large rural council ward, stretching across villages, lanes, fields and countryside, so this is no mean feat. The route will surpass 30 miles, and I’ll be doing it in aid of veterans, serving personnel and their families.

Any donation, large or small, would be hugely appreciated and will help make a real impact. Please do chip in if you can.

The Royal British Legion works hard to support some of the most vulnerable people in our society – from older veterans, to those experiencing social isolation, to serving and ex-serving personnel and families facing the pressures of the cost-of-living crisis. Their support is a lifeline for thousands, and they can only continue this work with our help.
