WALKING THE WALL 'VETERANS CHALLENGE' 2 SARN HELEN, WALES

Welcome to the Walking the Wall veterans challenge 2 . After the successful hike across Hadrian's earlier this year, raising over 5000 euros for veterans charities worldwide the Legionaries will be back! The next expedition will take on the ancient Roman road of "Sarn Helen" across the wild Celtic country of Wales. Their objective is simple ! To raise funds and awareness for veterans charities around the world.

This is not just a normal hike, as history will literally come alive on this epic journey as both ‘Ben and Nick’ will be in full Roman armour and uniform to highlight the cause. They will hike across some of Wales' most rugged and remote landscape during winter, no matter what the weather has to throw at them in full Roman equipment weighing 70lbs, marching 20miles per day in order to achieve the goal of supporting veterans charities worldwide for this truly noble cause.

The goals and initiatives behind this challenge are to raise awareness and funds for the men and women who served their countries and make sure that their contribution is valued and not forgotten. This challenge will show that military veterans no matter what their disability, physical or mental can achieve anything as a team together! ‘V for Veteran – V for Victory’
