On 21 September 2026, I'll be taking on a Wing Walk in Kent to raise money for SAP;UK (Suicide Awareness Prevention UK).

I've paid for the Wing Walk myself using the money I was gifted for my 50th birthday, so every donation will go directly to SAP;UK.

I have chosen to support SAP;UK because of the incredible work they do. The story behind the Community Interest Company (CIC) really resonated with me. I spent a long time looking for a local suicide awareness and prevention charity to support and, sadly, there aren't many in my area.

A few years ago, I experienced a loss that changed my life forever. It is an experience that has shown me just how devastating the impact of suicide can be, not only in the moment but in the years that follow. It has also made me realise how important it is that people who are struggling know there is somewhere they can turn, that help is available, and that they don't have to face their darkest moments alone.

SAP;UK works tirelessly to support people in crisis, raise awareness, and encourage conversations that can save lives.

If taking on this Wing Walk helps raise funds to enable SAP;UK to continue supporting people who are struggling, raise awareness, or encourage even one person to reach out for help, then every second of it will be worthwhile.
