Information on how to enter the raffle ☺️
Please donate the correct amount to this page for the number of raffle tickets you wish to buy and then I’ll be in touch soon with your ticket numbers.
For example, to buy 1 ticket please donate £2. If you would like to buy a strip of tickets (5 tickets), please donate £6.
Please DO NOT select anonymous when donating to the page. If you do this then I won’t be able to get in touch with you to give you your raffle ticket numbers
Good luck everyone and thanks again
On Monday 8th April all parents/carers whose children attend SELFA (a local children’s charity in Skipton) received an email explaining that they were unsuccessful with their reapplication to BBC Children in Need. This application helps to fund their half term holiday activities which means they are not able to run any of their activities during May half term due to them needing to make financial cutbacks.
SELFA works with children and young people who have autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, attachment disorders, mental and physical health issues. They may also come from low-income homes, be exposed to domestic violence and/or substance abuse or help to care for parents or siblings. As I am sure you can appreciate SELFA doesn’t just provide activities for children to make the holidays more fun and entertaining, this charity acts as a lifeline for many, and it is extremely sad to hear that these families are already worrying about how they are going to manage the May half term holidays without their support.
On Saturday 11th May Andie will be walking from Leeds to Skipton with his friend Oliver Wiggan to try and raise money so SELFA can continue to support children during the school holidays in the future.
Myself and all the other parents/carers whose children attend SELFA would be extremely grateful for any support you can provide us during this time.
Thank you ❤️
