Hi my name is Louie, I am fundraising for my 5 year old niece Winnie. On the 10th of September this year she was sadly out of no where diagnosed with terminal brain cancer - DMG Diffuse, Midline, Glioma an aggressive brain tumour that is wrapped around the pons. In Winnie's case it is DIPG specifically. Her prognosis is 9-12 months from diagnosis. This hit everyone really hard. With the prognosis my sister (Alicia) and her Fiancé (Darren) both want to spend as much time with my niece as they possibly can which has led Darren to take time off work. I have always been close with my sister and her Fiancé, from burying them in holes on Minecraft at 8 years old to now being an Uncle to their 2 funny and adorable daughters. This is why I am wanting to help out as much as I can to give Winnie the opportunities to do things she'd love and help Alicia and Darren create memories that will last them a lifetime.

Winnie is a massive fan of Disney, specifically Lilo & Stitch along with Frozen and Toy Story. One of the main places we are wanting to take her is Disney Land which prompted me to do this. All funds from this Go fund me will go towards sending Winnie to Disney Land allowing her to meet some of her favourite characters (Stitch, Woody, Elsa) and to make some memories that will last a lifetime.

Alongside Disney, terminal illnesses also come with other financial difficulties, driving to and from hospitals such as St.James' in Leeds and Leeds General Infirmary. With this, any other proceeds over those to fund the Disney Land trip will be use at Winnie's parents discretion to support them through an extremely financially challenging period.

Which is why I decided to walk the same distance by the end of the year. 120 miles to be exact.

I pledge to do a sponsored walk to raise funds for Winnie and her parents to ease some of the strain and allow them to focus on creating memories with the little time they have left.
