Walking For Anna
Donation protected
This October, a group of friends are coming together for an extraordinary mission—walking 1,000 miles, or the equivalent of 38 marathons and 2 million steps with the aim to raise as much as possible for Anna, a loving mother, wife, and sister who has been diagnosed with motor neurone disease at just 38 years old.
Leading the way is Anna’s sister, Sara, who, along with the group, is determined to give Anna the chance to stay in the home she loves with her husband and three young daughters.
Anna’s life changed overnight. She had to stop working, leaving her with only a small pension, and her husband now earns just £2 an hour as her full-time carer. Without significant changes to their home, Anna wouldn't be able to stay with her family and time is of the essence. They need to raise funds to go towards the vital adaptations and furnishings with the cost exceeding £70,000
Every single step this group takes is for Anna—and we are asking for your help. By sponsoring this challenge, you can directly support the Barrow family, ensuring Anna can live her life as independently as possible with the people she loves most. No donation is too small, and every bit makes a huge difference. Let’s come together to give Anna the support she desperately & deservedly needs.
