Walking 18 London bridges for Tanzania
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Rea, and I'm fundraising for my school expedition to go and volunteer in Tanzania with Camps International.
On Monday 17th of April, my friends and I will be walking 11 miles across 18 bridges in London from Tower Bridge to Putney Bridge to fundraise for the trip.
Whilst in Tanzania, we will be stopping in three different camps across the country, staying near small communities. Each day, we will go into the communities and help build houses, classrooms, and bathrooms; install clean water supplies for the villages; make marketplaces to generate income; and support finance initiatives with different groups. We will also be helping to clean the environment and reuse the rubbish that we find as sustainable building materials.
This trip is important because it will help people in need and would help me understand the difficulties that people who live in other parts of the world face. It would also help me appreciate how we can help the communities better their lives and create a fairer world.
