Walk for Gunner
The Gunner Lewis-Vale Trust was established earlier this year as a result of Gunner Lewis-Vale’s diagnosis of Mucopolysaccharidosis, MPS Type1 is it’s not common name.
MPS is a very rare genetic disease resulting in sufferers having a reduced ability to break down sugars and to rebuild cells. Given that the body has millions of different cells, it effects the whole body including major organs, joints, bones, muscles, you names it, it effects it.
The goal of the trust is to support Gunner and his family as this disease changes the course of their lives, helping with the financial burden of specialist care and treatment as well as adaptations to the home or aids for Gunner as he becomes less mobile. The trust set out with a long term vision to not only provide care and support for Gunner, but for other families who are unfortunate enough to be effected by this disease and to the create a legacy in supporting sufferers of MPS for many many years to come.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and support our cause and goal. It really means a lot to know that so many people care, it is recognised that no donation is given lightly, the Trust and all of it’s supporters are so unbelievably grateful for any donations, no matter how large or small, it really makes such a big difference to the impact that the trust can have on people’s lives…so please dig deep and share the word.
