Walk for Wolf-Hirschhorn

My name is Nicole and for my senior project I am raising awareness for Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome and raising money for Easter Seals through a walk/run called Walk for Wolf-Hirschhorn. 

My niece Emma is 22 months old and has Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome. This syndrome is a genetic disorder that affects the 4th chromosome. There can be any number of disabilities associated with this deletion and is dependent on the amount of information deleted from the chromosome. This syndrome affects Emma by limiting her muscle growth. The Easter Seals Early Intervention Program has played a large part in Emma's development.

Easter Seals is an organization that provides services, education, outreach, and advocacy so that people living with disabilities can live, learn, work and play.
