Walk Talk Action is a Staffordshire based not for profit organisation who help people take positive steps towards better mental health. They encourage you to explore who you are, discover your strengths and achieve a better state of mind. They help with PTSD, depression, anxiety, loneliness and midlife crisis.
Walk Talk Action is wholly funded through grants, donations and fund raising activities.
Those associated with Walk Talk Action aren't shy of pushing themselves to take on a challenge to help raise vital funds. This year Teri and Jen are undertaking the challenge of completing The Staffordshire Way walk, which is a 94 mile stretch of beautiful Staffordshire countryside from Kinver Edge to Mow Cop. The goal is to achieve this within 5 days starting on Monday 10th August 2026 and finishing on Friday 14th August 2026. With the help of Walk Talk Actions very own wilderness walk leader, Lee, who is also a member of Staffordshire's search and rescue - he brings the practical knowledge of undertaking such a challenge.
A considerable walking challenge has been one of Jen's goals for a while whose 'day' job is very much spent at a desk for long hours, not to mention has a real fear of cows, having been chased a few times!
This will not be easy as the route will take time to navigate, the temperatures in mid August may be extremely high and its back to back days for near marathon walks!
Any spare change you can give will be greatly appreciated and will go directly to Walk Talk Action to enable them to continue with the great work they do!
