Walk for Val and JJ

Hi I’m Steve and together with my partner Julie we are organising a sponsored walk with family and friends to raise money in memory of my wonderful mam Val and Julie’s amazing dad JJ, both of whom are so greatly missed. Funds raised are to be split equally between two very worthy causes, Asthma and Lung UK charity and Ashwood Care home at Easington. We are planning to walk with friends and family from the Stadium of Light to South Shields and back (13miles) on Sunday 20th July. Many of you will know this will be a massive physical challenge for myself personally due to my stroke but myself and Julie are determined to make this as successful as possible to remember two wonderful people who touched the lives of everybody that knew them.
