Walk for Ukraine – Fundraising to Save Lives

Hello! My name is Natalia Maievska, and I represent the Ukrainian community in Godalming, Waverley. Together with Ben Rogers from the British community (Godalming Minster), we are organising a charity walk to provide support to those in need in Ukraine.

We aim to raise funds for Ukraine Mission, a small group of British volunteers from Guildford who have been delivering aid, equipment, and medicine to medics, rescue teams, and civilians in Ukraine since April 2022.

Why We Walk

For three years, Ukraine has faced an ongoing humanitarian crisis. Civilians, including children, are affected daily, and medical teams are working tirelessly to save lives. Paramedics, emergency responders, and rescue teams need urgent support to continue their critical work.

We are walking to raise £3,500 for essential medical supplies for Ukraine Mission, a small group of dedicated volunteers from Guildford. Since April 2022, they have delivered aid, equipment, and medicine to first responders and medical teams working in high-risk areas.

Your support will help us provide:

✔ Defibrillators, spine boards, and splints

✔ Tourniquets, burn dressings, and ambulance beds

✔ Hard-wearing boots for rescue teams

If we raise over £5,000, we will fund an ambulance for Ukraine!
