There is something special about the 4th of July in Wakefield Valley — neighbors gathering together, kids running through the yard with glow sticks, burgers on the grill , lawn chairs lined up , and everyone looking to the sky as fireworks light up the night . This year is even more meaningful as America celebrates its 250th anniversary — truly a once-in-a-lifetime occasion. To help celebrate, Zachary Brisko is once again planning a fantastic community fireworks display for Wakefield Valley. If you’ve seen his shows before, you know this is the real deal!
One of the best parts is being able to stay home and relax on our lawns against the golf course, soaking up the summer evening and watching the display with friends and family. The size of the show will depend on the amount raised for a truly great experience the whole community can enjoy together.
We’re asking everyone who loves the fireworks and this neighborhood tradition to help support the effort. Every donation — no matter the size — helps make the celebration possible. The fireworks will begin at a specific time that will be announced in advance so everyone knows when to grab their chairs and gather together. In the event of rain, we will schedule an alternate date for the community, likely July 5th.
Let’s come together to celebrate America , community, and a summer tradition we will remember for years to come. The photos here (which do not do justice!) are from two years ago.
