South America, Here I Come!

Hello! My name is Christen Lassig and I am a senior at the University of Delaware majoring in Exercise Science with a concentration in Exercise Physiology and double minoring in Strength & Conditioning and Health, Physical Activity & Disability. After graduating I will continue my education and earn my Doctorate of Physical Therapy, as I have planned for years.                      
Becoming a physical therapist engages my passion of helping others. I have always dreamt of traveling the world and now I can put those two ideas into one, and make it happen! On January 3, 2015 I will embark on a journey of a lifetime through MEDLIFE (Medicine Education and Development to Low Income Families Everywhere) to Ecuador and Peru for a Medical Volunteer Trip. I am beyond excited and eager to take part in such an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I will be given the chance to work alongside doctors, nurses, therapists and other medical professionals to give people of all ages, from a community much less fortunate then mine here in the U.S, the care they need. This experience will better me not only as a future medical professional but also as an individual. I have organized this fundraising page in order to help raise enough money to send me on this amazing trip! I would greatly appreciate your help!
