Adopting My Step-Daughter

Aniya has been my daughter since 2011 in my eyes. She was only 5 years old when we met. My wife and I have now been married 6 years and together for 8 years.  Now Aniya is almost 13 years old and if you ask her, I am her father. 

Aniya's biological father recently signed his rights away. I feel that  officially adopting her is the right thing to do. I just want her to always know she belongs with us. 

The court and lawyer fees have taken a toll and we have simply run out of money at this last stage of completing the adoption process. The final paperwork will be completed within the next month. Any donations will would be appreciated.
