WAG is a volunteer-run organization based in Kigali, Rwanda with the goal to provide a safe place for abandoned/street dogs in Rwanda. This Valentine’s Day, WAG is hosting an event at the Hope Shop from 11 am-2 pm, filled with puppy love. Most of our adoptable dogs will be there, waiting to give kisses to some lucky people. 


Leading up to this Valentine's day event, we are raising money to complete emergency kennels that we recently built in partnership with PETS +.  These kennels will allow us to increase our rescue capacity and take the first step towards building a physical dog shelter.  The space includes a garden to socialize the dogs with people and dogs alike.  We hope to raise at least $2,000 to put up lights, finish our kitchen, and have some funds set aside to pay staff and feed dogs for the first few months of operation!


Through the generous support of animal lovers in Rwanda and abroad, we provide food, love, veterinary care and help find dogs in need, loving, permanent homes. We also provide support to dog owners in Rwanda and advocate for animal welfare. WAG is 100% non-profit and is simply a handful of passionate dog lovers trying to meet a serious need in Rwanda.
