Alzheimer’s is a particularly evil disease, especially when it is early onset Alzheimer’s. My cousin, brother Wade Simon (Rho pledge class of Sigma Chi- Eta Tau) has been fighting the good fight against the disease over the past decade, but is now in hospice care, in his final days. Wade's family faces a difficult financial outlook- having depleted their savings with his medical costs and daily nurse care- and now with his hospice care. Wade will be survived by his wife Lisa, and college age daughters Sydney and Sarah, who will need financial assistance badly moving forward.
