Hi my name is Taylor , I am a close family friend of aunty Kim and uncle des of Oakdale !

Now Kim is someone who doesn’t like asking anyone to grab her a carton of milk let alone for help to this extent , though Kim and Des would always be the first people there to help whenever ANYONE needed a hand no matter if it was food support , advice or simply those times when your computer just isn’t working? Des would be the first to fix it at no cost and of course they’d always be there even just as a shoulder to cry on , please help us in donating to show her support during this time is offered whole heartily !

Our beautiful Kim and their son David and the entire Sampson family have faced the unimaginable — the sudden and unexpected passing of their beloved , Des .

After Kim and Des being together 35 years, her life partner, soulmate, and best friend is no longer here after passing very very suddenly on the 16th of September , and she is left navigating not only the heartbreak of grief but also the heavy financial pressures that come with such a loss.

Kim and Des were working hard to manage a few debts . Now, in the midst of this tragedy, the stress of daily expenses and bills is making it difficult for Kim to take the time she desperately needs to grieve and begin to heal.

Anyone who knew Des will tell you he was the heart of every room he walked into. He gave back endlessly to the community — whether it was through teaching singing, sharing music, being the life of the party with his humor, or simply offering a shoulder to lean on. He had a way of making everyone feel loved, supported, and seen.

Now, in his memory, we want to rally around Kim the way Des always rallied around others. This fundraiser is to help cover her living expenses and ease the financial strain, so she can focus on healing rather than worrying about how to get by.
