Support Caitlin's Journey to Recovery
My daughter Caitlin went into the hospital on December 18th at 32 years old with a stroke. Three years ago, she had a dual chamber pacemaker put in for heart failure. The doctors have told us that due to not being on blood thinners after the pacemaker, she has a blood clot in her heart that caused the stroke.
Caite had lost her job a few months ago due to a shortage of work at the law firm. She has since been trying to find a job and had a second interview that day with a tax agency. Now, we do not know how long it will be until she can work again.
She has a husband, Austin, and daughter, Ashton, who are her strength, with strong support from family and friends around them. She is a fighter and has got her left leg moving enough to use a walker. Her left arm is harder to get moving, but she is trying. Currently, she is waiting to get a room at a therapy hospital to work on getting her back to normal. They believe she has her age on her side and will make a full recovery; it's just going to take some time.We appreciate and thank you for any help they can get, even if it is just a prayer.
