Freedom Taillight Project

Freedom Taillight Project is a group of community volunteers that work to reduce harm in underserved and over-policed communities. We formed in response to the murder of Jayland Walker in 2022. On the second Saturday of every month we meet at the Advanced Auto Parts on Vernon Odom and replace burnt out or broken light bulbs for free. We also serve a community meal. To date we have changed over 200 bulbs and served over 500 meals. We recently received 501c4 status. The first clinic this year will be on Saturday, April 13th. We are trying to raise enough to support our work for the next few months. If you aren't able to support us financially, we are always seeking people to volunteer at our events and people to spread the word. Thank you so much for any support you can offer!!!!
