Vehicle for The Lewis Family During Medical Emergency

This fundraiser is for a sweet young family that is going through a very difficult time. At a young age of 25, John is currently in the hospital with kidney failure. One kidney is not functioning at all and the other is operating at 17%.

Their main physical need is transportation: They live 1.5 hrs away from the hospital and do not have a car. They have saved some money towards a down payment, but will also need help with gas, food, childcare, insurance, and other unanticipated costs.

Recommendations are welcomed for a program or dealership that could offer a reliable car for an affordable price—or a Good Samaritan looking to donate or sell a vehicle to a family in need.

This family has a 10 month old baby Jireh and a dog, Sandy. Transportation is very necessary with John’s health conditions and need for dialysis multiple times a week in the near future.

Please keep this family in your prayers! Only 2 years ago, Reanna aged out of foster care, and John has dealt with a lot of hardship in his life. Despite all they’ve been through—including homelessness—they remain grateful and motivated to create a good life for their baby. We have seen God provide in crazy ways, and through many compassionate people and we are believing for more miracles!
