My Dream of Becoming a Mother

For four and a half years, my husband and I have been dreaming of hearing the word “Mom.”

We’ve faced heartbreak after heartbreak — tests, treatments, and tears — but we’ve never lost hope.

Our dream of becoming parents has been tested by infertility.

Doctors told us that our only chance to have a child is through IVF with ICSI treatment — something far beyond our financial reach.

Each month, most of our income goes to rent for our small apartment, leaving little room to save for the procedure. Still, every morning, I wake up with faith that one day, I’ll hold our baby in my arms.
