Dear Family and Friends,

I am writing to ask for your support in fulfilling my dream of reuniting with my son, David Ortega, also known as Dave Lock, in the United States. It has been an extremely long and difficult process to immigrate to the United States. David was approved for an immigrant visa in 2000, but we have only seen each other four times in Mexico over the past 23 years. The US has not granted him a tourist visa to visit me, under the pretext that he has an ongoing immigration petition.

Despite following all the immigration rules and being patient, we have faced unexpected setbacks in the process. However, during his time in Mexico, David has become a multi-talented artist who has made significant contributions to his community. He is a musician, DJ, audio engineer, and visual artist, and has donated his time and talent to many organizations and individuals. He is well-known in the Tucson, Arizona community, where he hopes to immigrate to, and has made many friends who have been supporting him throughout this journey.

Unfortunately, the immigration process is both challenging and expensive, and we are struggling to cover the costs of the immigration process, including application fees, legal fees, travel, and other expenses.

That is why I am asking for your help. Your contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping us with the costs associated with this process. With your support, we can finally be reunited after all these years.
