Mexico Mission Trip!

Hey there! My name is Zander Fletcher and I am a 22 year old believer in Jesus Christ! For most of my life, I haven't been surrounded much by the Christian faith. In high school, I started a peak in interest in Christianity through FCA. I attended Vanguard University and this is where I grew a lot in my faith as well as learned more about the Christian faith. After graduating I didn't feel like my entire life was committed to christ and so about a month ago, I made the decision to get baptized. I was reading the word with one of my good friends and he had asked me if I was ever baptized before I explained to him I had not because I almost felt like organizing the event almost held me back from making the decision. After reading the Word with him and feeling the lord tug on my heart, he said I can really get baptized whenever and that's when I said let's do it today! Within 20 minutes we had a location and 20 people came last minute to celebrate my new life with Jesus Christ. I was now renewed in Jesus's name and eager to find ways to serve the Lord and help grow His kingdom as well as connect to a community. I have been so blessed to be a part of so many communities through different churches. I recently joined a men's group through bayside and absolutely loved it, loved the men's part of it as well as the guidance I received. Wanting to find ways to serve I was interested in a number of things through bayside but one that stuck out was the Mexico outreach mission. I've always wanted to serve on a mission trip out of the country and I just felt the Lord calling me to join. It was the last day to register before it closed but fortunately, I was able to join the group! Our mission with the bayside orange county on march 31st is to serve in Mexico spreading the good news as well as building a home in 7 days and on the last day handing over the keys to a family and giving them a new home! We will be in Guadalupe Victoria, Mexico, and every day plans to impact the lives in Mexico. I feel the Lord calling me to do missionary work to spread the gospel, give to communities of the less fortunate, and serve my brothers and sisters all over the world!!

If you would like to help support me in my mission trip to Mexico, the first support I ask for is prayer. Prayer for the mission and prayers for the families in Mexico's less fortunate areas. The second support I ask for is any type of financial support, it doesn't have to be a lot and everything given helps me tremendously to have an opportunity to serve on this mission with Bayside! The goal amount is $800 and this helps cover costs of travel, housing, and food for the week while in Mexico! Any amount over the goal will be used to purchase tools and materials to help with the build!
