Hello, our names are Wanda and Jason Stark. Recently our 29-year-old Son Brandon, was admitted to the hospital for severe abdominal pains, during his stay it was revealed that he has stage four sigmoid rectal colon cancer that has metastasized and spread to his liver. We have met with his doctor and our Son is treatable with a good probability of survival, but only if he receives a minimum of two operations to remove the affected areas of his colon and liver, and then follow those up with cycles of chemotherapy. As you can imagine this is a very scary time for our Son and Family. Our Son missed his opportunity to sign up for health insurance during open enrollment with the company he was working for due to being admitted into the hospital, he has filed for Tenn-care and was denied due to technically still being employed and on medical leave. As you know these types of life saving operations and chemotherapy are extremely expensive. Our Son is a god-fearing young man who loves his family and friends, and we all love him so much. No parent wants to see their child sick, especially when that sickness is cancer. Please help us help our Son.
