My name is Nicky Bowyer and I am looking for help to find my cousin Brent Gibson!
Brent is 26 from Vinton, VA. On Wednesday, March 3, 2021, the day started out as any other normal day. Brent went to work at Cardinal Glass and then clocked out around noon for his lunch break. This is where the mystery starts... Brent never returned to work. Later that day, his truck was found on the Blue Ridge Parkway at the Roanoke River Overloook. The truck was unlocked, and all of his personal belongings were inside including his wallet and cellphone. We have not seen or heard from his since.
We are spending each and everyday looking for clues and the missing pieces to this story. We do have help from the Park Rangers, but it is limited at this time.
I am creating this page for those of you who want to help the family. His mom Dawn, dad David, and brothers Dylan and Jayson have been searching day and night for Brent. They are not able to work, which is a financial strain on the family that they do not need at this time.
Donations will be used to help pay bills while they looks for Brent and provide them with food and gas. Gift cards are also welcome!
Also, God forbid, we are made to lay Brent to rest, they will need help with arrangements as well.
Most importantly, prayers are needed as we continue our journey. Thank you to everyone that has helped thus far.
