Hello, my name is Eunjoo. I’m a tattoo artist and an immigrant who once called Canada home.

In 2021, I was diagnosed with ADHD and bipolar disorder. For a long time, I struggled in silence — unable to work, unable to ask for help. My mental health deteriorated, and with it, my financial stability.

In search of faster treatment and support, I returned to South Korea in 2024. While I’ve begun receiving care here, I’m now burdened with over $50,000 in credit card and phone debt from my time in Canada. I have no assets, no current income, and no family who can support me financially.

I want to go back — not just to Canada, but to a place in life where I feel safe, independent, and creative again. I dream of reopening my tattoo practice, reconnecting with my community, and living a stable, peaceful life. But without your help, I cannot even afford the journey back.
