Hi my name is James Gamino. I am currently raising funds to start my nonprofit GOT YOU COVERED, I'm hoping to start as soon as possible in 2023. The funds will be used for startup fees for a nonprofit lawyer who will help me complete all steps to establish 501(C)3 non-profit status for GOT YOU COVERED.I plan on serving the community by making the streets safer and getting folks the resources they need. I will do this by walking areas that are heavily populated by our unhoused folks, providing resources, and collaborating and working with other non profits and faith-programs. I used to be homeless, addicted to drugs, and felt like there was nothing that was going to change in my life. Today in 2023 I am currently at City Team Men's Renew Program in San Jose California. I am a native bay area resident my whole life. I've been clean and sober for over 8 months and I have surrender to God and this is how I have changed my life. I am sober today because of the people god has placed in my Life. I know I can be effective combating community issues through GOT YOU COVERED. I have a plan and a vision and together we can make a difference in our community, one city at a time. The sooner I can start it, the more people we can help this year in 2023 and forever after. Everyone and anyone who shares my passion is more than welcome to be part of the experience strength and Hope being part of this movement with GOT YOU COVERED.
