Go Fund Nina Getting On Her Bike Again

Donation protected
Awesome effort. So rapt that we have successfully raised a total of $797.

The first $500 contributed has covered the insurance excess to replace Nina's stolen E-bike
We came close to reaching the second goal of meeting the cost of insurance premium for 12 months on her new E-Bike.

I'm pleased to confirm that Nina has received hew new E-Bike which is fantastic. Further, she has been able to take out insurance on her new bike. Taking this financial burden from Nina was beneficial to her well-being.

I'd like to thank everyone involved in this Go Fund Nina campaign, with your generous donations and sharing links online, we have made a huge difference to daily life for Nina.

We've been humbled and are very grateful for generosity and support given to Go Fund Nina Getting On Her Bike Again.

Thank you and well done every body.

G O F U N D N I N A GETTING ON HER BIKE AGAIN

I've known Nina for a number of years and consider her one of my dearest friends who is a force of nature, fulfilling parental responsibilities, career obligations, creative pursuits, encouraging friends to find success in their achievements, endorsing local artists and actively supporting the music community through active participation.

In contrast to the myth of kiwis living in Australia to bludge off the welfare system, Nina has always worked to support herself and her son. A Single Parent Kiwi Battler without the safety net of Centrelink Payments or the luxury of a trust fund to cover living costs.

Over the past few months a number of unfortunate events have impacted on her life.
  • Her car was written off.
  • Sustaining an ongoing injuring to her dominant arm and chronic Bronchitis rendered unfit for work and forced to take time off.
  • Ongoing concerns with painful injuries to left arm diagnosed torn tendons in elbow requiring several months unpaid leave for rehabilitation.
  • Most recently the near new E-bike that replaced her vehicle as main mode of transport was stolen from the basement car park in the apartment where she lives.

Prior to being stolen, that E-bike was Nina's pride and joy, also the only form of transport she owned which was used for taking her son to school, getting to work and being self sufficient.

The cumulative financial and emotional hardship that Nina has endured is only partially offset by a successful insurance claim.
  • The remaining shortfall to purchase a replacement E-bike is another burden for her to quietly stress over.
  • The insurance payout for replacement of stolen bike doesn't factor in the insurance excess charged or insurance premiums for a new E-bike.
  • Nor does it cover the cost of accessories and components that Nina purchased to enable Hunter to ride as a passenger and for modifications required to tow a trailer.

Nina has always been generous with her time and resources and always willing to help out friends when they've been in trouble. I know through personal experience how grateful and humbled by her kind gesture of gifting me assistance towards living costs during the financial struggle of the Covid19 lock downs.

That's just one example, obviously a meaningful display of how awesome Nina is definitely not just a once-off occurrence. Anybody that knows Nina will know this, have seen it, definitely heard about and most likely been there..

There's not enough time to list all of the reasons to Go Fund Nina and the word count must be reaching that point where most people become distracted and just want to know how to contribute..

  • Insurance Excess $500
  • 12 Months insurance Premiums $400
  • Bicycle for Hunters Birthday (6th Oct) $300

It would mean the world to me for this campaign to successfully raise coin to Go Fund Nina get back on a bike again, focus on her health and family needs instead of stressing over finances.
