Vunerable Man Conned
**PLEASE HELP VUNERABLE MAN**
I am the Owner of Taylor & Sons. I have been called in by a Neighbour to help/work at a Gentlemen’s House in Newport Pagnell.
6 weeks ago He had Soffits and Fascia Boards replaced, Brickwall under the bay window built, Slabbing and Turfing done, Plus a few other jobs. The original quote was for £8,500. Within 7 days, The quote had gone up too £22,500. This was due to charging for extras and £500 per day for the rental of the scaffolding.
The reason we have set a GoFundMe page up is because the work was bodged, unsafe and Allowing a lot of water into the property. Their was no footings under the brickwall, No level was used whilst building the brick wall, All rubbish from the job was left in the alcove, Fascia boards were too low so windows at the property wouldn’t open, Fascia boards not fitted correctly, Guttering fitted in wrong direction and Below roof line, Slabs were laid uneven and unsafe.
I would like too help this man as He is Vunerable and has been wel and truely conned. The company went into liquidation so he has had no joy in retrieving any money back. This poor bloke has been in tears as has had many sleepless nights over the shambles of work he was left with.
I am completing this gentlemen’s work whilst making no profit. Every penny would truely help this man.
