A friend of mine has suddenly been put in a position where she has had to set up house alone. She’s struggling financially to afford things such as carpets/flooring, which would help keep her home warm in these cold winter months and keep heating costs down. It’s hard to believe someone so young has to be so independent with no family support, and no savings to get her going. Although she has been gifted a few bits it’s the bigger and more expensive things she’s struggling with.

I know times are extremely tough for everyone, but most of us have people we can rely on. I can’t imagine being in this position with no family.
