Hey GP Family, We're going to start preparing for our 12th Annual GP Care Package and Blankets of Love event and giveaway for the homeless for 2026, Since 2014 GP Care Packages has been reaching out to the homeless each year for the Christmas Holiday. We're looking forward to being able to continue passing out packages again and we really need the public's help in doing so again. Especially, since our 2025 and all of our other past events went so well. Last year we were able to reach 1000+ people throughout the year and we're looking forward to reaching even more if possible, this time around 1500+. We would like to get an early start again in preparation for this year! There are so many unhoused people living or sleeping in our streets and community and they have nowhere to go. This year we are looking forward to bringing smiles and warmth to each and every person we can reach. We want to continue showing people that they are loved and not forgotten. Each year our care packages include ( hygiene items, beanies, gloves, socks, toothpaste, travel kits, and soaps). Our goal this year is to add more ( blankets, pass-out snacks, food, water, Shoes, grocery gift cards and other items) brand new shoes, and single-use tents, if possible. In order to achieve this, we need your help with any type of donation or contribution in order to reach our goal. All items will be purchased starting in August and September of 2026 and all GP Care Packages & Blankets will be distributed during the Summer and Christmas Season.
