On May 27th, Dalton had a terrible motorcycle crash. He left the road at highway speed. Ended up with a concussion, broken arm, ankle, and shattered both hip sockets. After a total of 24 hrs of surgery over the course of 3 days, he is recovering in the hospital. He will be in the hospital for a few weeks before he can be transferred to a rehab facility.

Unfortunately, he was only 6 days into his new job at the VA hospital, so he doesn't have any sick leave or vacation built up yet to help pay bills and cover care, beyond what health insurance will pay for.

As Daltons parents, we thank you for any contribution that you are able to give. We want to extend a big thank you and hugs to all of our family and friends for their kind words, thoughts, and prayers during this difficult time for Dalton. Also, thank yous to his trauma care team. They are special angels on this earth. We feel so grateful to still have Dalton with us today.
