7th Ward Travel Dreams! The 7th Ward Boys & Girls Garden is based out of New Orleans, Louisiana and provides our neighborhood kids with access to help with homework and learning how to garden. While some of our most important work that we do happens in our garden, we are trying to give our kids opportunities to travel outside of New Orleans and gain new experiences of the world which they may not otherwise have. With your help, we hope to be able to bring our kids to cities they haven't been before. This summer- we would like to bring Bre'Yon to Los Angeles and Daikell to New York City. We have adult chaperones ready and paid for on both trips. We are not asking to pay for the adult tickets, just to help supplement the cost of the kids airfare and food while they travel. Alternatively, if you have miles on Southwest or Jetblue that is also very helpful! We already have had suitcases and summer clothes donated to us which is amazing.
