Hello VT aKDPhi Alumnae, Friends, and Family,

We hope this message finds you well! As convention season approaches, we’re excited to share that this year’s event will be held in Portland, Oregon! Convention is an invaluable opportunity for our sisters to connect, grow as leaders, and strengthen our bonds within our sorority network.

Last year, we proudly achieved status advancement, marking a huge milestone for our chapter. Now, as the Alpha Theta Chapter, this convention is our chance to continue that momentum and represent our chapter with pride!

We are required to send at least 45% of our active house, which means 8 sisters need to attend, but we need your help to make it happen. Attending convention comes with financial challenges, especially with this year’s convention being held across the country, making travel more expensive than previous years. Additionally, registration fees have increased by 8% from last year. While we typically seek university funding to help costs, all budgeted funds for conferences have already been allocated, leaving us without that support.

Attending convention comes with these financial challenges, and we’re reaching out to our beloved alumnae community to support our sisters' travel expenses.
