Hi, my name is Kristy and I’m raising funds for my parents who are financially struggling with their small business due to the algae crisis in South Australia. My parents were too proud to tell me of their struggles and now face losing their house and their livelihood. My Dad wrote to the Minister to express his concerns. He was interviewed by 7 news to which a friend text me to say he saw my Dad on the news. This was heartbreaking not knowing what my friend was talking about, then to see my Dad break down on national television that he’s about to lose everything he’s worked hard for his whole life.
I’m reaching out to try raise some funds to keep my parents stay positive and get through this tough time.
