One of our most respected contractors and neighbors, Carlos Hernandez, has lost his home in the Southern California community of Altadena. Carlos, his wife Eliseth, their 17-year-old son Jacob (a junior at John Muir high school), their daughter Crystal Hernandez, and their son Carlos Jr. have lived in this home for the past twenty years.

La familia Hernandez left their house last Tuesday with only essential items. They returned to their home only to learn they had lost everything including their truck loaded with Carlos’s tools and the equipment vital to making his living as a contractor.

The members of this family are hard working and blessed to have each other. As they begin the long, arduous process of moving through this tragedy and navigating the obstacles, they are in need of community support. All donations will go directly towards helping the Hernandez family with unexpected costs and getting back on their feet.
