I am Fernando Melcher, living here in the United States, and I am trying to raise money to help my dear Friend Mohammed Hani Qutati from Gaza (he is a stamp collector too) and his Family (Wife, 3 little kids and parents) that I have known for many years. They are in a situation where they cannot provide for themselves with so much restrictions and lack of resources. These funds would help them with basic needs such as blankets, clothes, food, and internet access.

Mohammed and his family are from Palestine (Rafah) and they were forced to leave the city and his home due to the Israeli invasion.

Now, they are all 7 living in a small tent. They are without water, electricity, and basics things .

During the bombing of Rafah, Mohammed lost his brother.

Also he lost his house which is completely destroyed. He shows great gratitude for having survived along with his family but has lost all that they own. They were only able to leave with what everybody was wearing and in that time it was warm so through the winter they have no warm clothes or blankets.

We did not hear from him for many months and expected the worse and was so grateful to know they survived the latest airstrikes. His situation is a bit better now (less bombing and little more food and supplies but not really able to even have the basic things yet...). Winter is not so far and they are extremely vulnerable for the weather conditions.

I would truly appreciate if anyone can give to this fund raising so we can offer him and his family a little relief after all of these years of extreme suffering and heartache.

Christmas is not so far and would be nice if his kids can receive a good meal and some little presents.

To answer a few questions in which I know will arise:

No, we cannot send gifts, supplies, or anything through the mail. It would unfortunately not make it to them.

No, they do not have paypal or cashapp. We have access to depositing money in a bank account there for them.

Do we really know them and know the money will go to a real family in need? Yes, I have known him for about 8 years and have had many conversations with him through messenger and through video chatting over the years.

Thank you for any contribution you can make as we will include the doner list with him and his family. To say they would appreciate anything is an understatement. This is LIFE CHANGING for them. Every $1 they receive would feel like one of us receiving $50 (or more). We will be sending the money as soon as the goal is hit.
