Hi, my name is Soren, I'm a sophmore in highschool.

Around maybe January of this year my dad, Travis Pedersen had to stop working due to medical issues, he has Hypothyroidism as well as liver failure, and at the time extreme swelling in his legs and stomach which has since gone down severely, overall his health was at a very low point. In June we got him to the hospital and he stayed there for about a week. Since then his health has gotten better, and he's been job hunting since July and has had no luck. He has years of experience, but physical limitations and no access to private transportation. He has always worked blue collar jobs, whether that be restaurant, plumbing, janitorial, ect. Before he was living off of some money that he had saved but all he's got left is $3

We're working on financial assistance with his apartment bills, but that's a process and he doesn't have that time.

I do what I can, I bring him groceries whenever I can, but I really don't have much money myself. Please I just want my dad to be okay, he has always been there for me and has done everything to make sure I'm happy, safe and comfortable and now he needs me and I can't do anything.
