Tom Doran

Hello everyone, I am making this for my father, Tom Doran. The last week of our lives have been unimaginable. We are doing well, but as we begin to think about everything that we left in our home, it isn't easy.

If you know Tom Doran, you know he is a hard-working and passionate man.

The night of the fire, he stayed trying to protect not only our house, his in-law's house but the entire block. At 10 pm or so, the water stopped. My dad is a fighter, and it took my brother (Jake) and fiancé (Brad) to get to him to evacuate his beloved home.

My dad stayed in the Palisades until 5:30 am when our home unfortunately collapsed.

It’s devastating to watch my dad, mom, grandma, grandpa, aunt and uncle lose everything.

We had no idea how bad it would get/that something like that would even be able to make it to our properties.

Along with building his life with my mom (Cindy) in the Palisades for the last 35 years, he has also been a staple to the community with his solo-run business, Doran Electric. We drove around the Palisades this week and it looks like we will be looking for a new client base in the meantime.

Tom has always been a hero in my eyes but after this week wow, what a man.
