Urgent: Help Us Raise the Final $24,000 for the VOY HBCU College Tour

There are moments in a young person’s life that can change everything.

Sometimes it is not a speech.

Sometimes it is not a classroom lesson.

Sometimes it is simply the moment they step onto a college campus and realize, I belong here too.

That is what the VOY College Tour has done for so many of our mentees.

These tours are not just trips. They are turning points. They give our youth the chance to dream bigger, see further, and believe in a future they may have never thought was possible for themselves. For many of the young people we serve, this experience is more than inspiring. It is life changing.

We are proud to share that we have already completed the first phase of our 2026 VOY College Tour, the So Cal Edition, which took place from February 5, 2026 to February 8, 2026. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we raised $16,000 and were able to make that phase a success.

Now we are preparing for the second phase, the HBCU Edition, taking place April 19, 2026 to April 25, 2026.

Our total goal is $40,000, and we now need to raise the remaining $24,000.

We are in the final stretch, and we need your help now.

Over the years, VOY’s college tours have created real success stories. Many of our mentees have gone on to attend college because these tours gave them the exposure, confidence, and motivation to believe in themselves. What they see during these trips stays with them. What they feel during these visits pushes them forward. What they gain from this experience can impact the rest of their lives.

The HBCU Edition is especially meaningful.

This tour gives our youth the opportunity to witness excellence, culture, legacy, leadership, and possibility in a powerful way. It allows them to walk through spaces that reflect achievement, resilience, and history. It gives them something that cannot be measured in dollars alone: vision.

And sometimes vision is the very thing a child needs to change the course of their life.

Some of our mentees only need one moment of inspiration to change their life forever. One campus visit. One conversation. One experience that helps them believe they are capable of more. Your donation can help create that moment.
