Martin Plachetka, Sandra Cregan, Stepanka Plachetka, Samantha Lordan & Debbie Fehily
Martin Plachetka a self employed teacher of English as a second language, a translator, and interpreter and in his second year of a PHD in Applied Linguistics in UCC. I wanted to partake as my niece has autism and the centre is a vital support service for her and other families in the area. The centre will need lots of financial support.
Sandra Cregan lives in Bandon her whole life. She is married to Frankie and has three daughters Shannon, Gemma and Alisha and one son James. As a mother of two children with Autism, she wants to participate to give back to Jack & Friends who have supported her and the family. She loves spending time with family who mean everything to her. She loves music and walking when she gets some free time!
Stepanka Plachetkova an Early years educator at the Childrens Lodge Montesorri she came to Bandon in 2005 with her Partner Marek and close family. She is a mother of two girls Adela and Natalie who was diagnosed with Autism. She has great support from her family, friends and from Jack & Friends Centre. She appreciates all the support and friends she has made through the centre and wants to participate to give back. She is so proud of her brother Martin who takes to the stage alongside her and looks forward to showing her girls the video when there older.
Samantha Lordan a mother to 3 children, Kyle, Liam and Charleigh and living with her Partner Trevor in Bandon. Samantha is an active committee member in Jack & Friends following her son Liam’s diagnosis of Autism. Samantha reached out to the club in 2017 for support through diagnosis and has since helped many other families alongside Claire in return for the support she received. She loves spending time with her family and friends more than anything else. She is child focused and leaves a trail of positivity and cheer wherever she goes. She is hands on at Jack & Friends and can be heard cheering every child on!
Debbie Fehilly hails from Ballinhassig and moved to Bandon in 2016. She lives with her partner Jason and two sons Darragh and Scott. When Darragh was 2years old Debbie reached out to Jack & Friends Centre for support when she had suspicions he may have Autism. She says the support was irreplaceable and the access to social opportunities for Darragh was fantastic. To have a resource of this kind available in Bandon is priceless and wants to give back by participating in this event.
