Volunteers Around The World: Panama

Hello everybody. My club at the University of Pittsburgh, Volunteers Around The World, is planning on going to Panama from May 20th to June 3rd. While there, we will be working with doctors to treat citizens in panama for basic medical conditions. Students from my club will be conducting tasks such as taking vitals, assessing patient complaints, informing patients of the medicine they need to take, and examining patients with the help of a doctor. Along with that, we'll be participating in a skills lab to learn the basics of suturing. As a current biology major at the University of Pittsburgh, and aspiring medical student, a trip like this is important for me in so many ways. I would greatly appreciate if anyone would be willing to help me further my experience in hopes of one day achieving my ultimate goal. Your donations will help not only me, but will pay for necessary medication/equipment we'll need to bring with us.
