With barely any access to clean water, stable and safe shelter, adequate education support, sufficient medical assistance or basic hygiene needs, the poverty stricken families of the Philippines struggle daily to survive.
A group of volunteer missionaries from Sydney Australia, Chantelle Boutros, Jessica Semrany, Christine Nakhoul and Rosemary Semrany have come together to walk in the footsteps of Jesus Christ with an aim for serving the poorest of the poor in the Philippines.
Our last trip showed the great need of assistance that our brothers and sisters require.This year our missionary trip to the Philippines aims to build a home for a family in need, along side the "Missionaries of the Poor" Brothers , we hope to provide assistance through:
- Visiting disabled orphanage. Spending time with the children, feeding them and helping with daily routines through love and kindness
- Food packs for their daily needs
- Hygiene packs
- Infant Nutrition packs as children a malnourished
- Education program support to better their future and give them more opportunities
- Buying basic essentials for families
- Engaging with the families for us to help them best we can
- Everyday duties of the MOP brothers
- Visiting elderly mental homes and providing them with support and assistance. Hoping to make a difference and improve the quality of life.
