Volunteering with Mercy Ships Hospital in Senegal

Paul and I are so excited to share that we will be volunteering with Mercy Ships for two months this Spring!

We have been accepted to volunteer in their ICU ward caring for patients in the country of Senegal who have undergone life-changing surgeries and operations on board Mercy Ships Hospital that they would otherwise never have access to.

Mercy Ships is a nonprofit faith-based organization that has been around for more than 40 years helping to bring medical care and surgeries to those without the means to afford them throughout 55 developing nations and 18 developed nations throughout the world.

Currently, their newest hospital ship Africa Mercy will be docked on the coast of Senegal for the year 2023!

It has been a dream of mine for 4+ years to volunteer with Mercy Ships and serve with them as a nurse on board this floating Hospital. It is so special and exciting to be able to go with Paul and work in their ICU caring for this precious population of patients.
