Volunteering in Peru, July 2025

Hi, my name is Alis and I am raising money for a school volunteering trip, to help communities near Cusco in Peru in 2025, so is my twin sister Bea.

During the three-week trip I will be helping in projects that are designed to provide sustainable long-term support to the communities. Improving sanitation facilities in houses for families and vulnerable elderly adults and working on community projects to build greenhouses, all while developing transatlantic relationships.

I will be learning about the Peruvian culture and after this work will be trekking to the ancient Inca ruins of Machu Picchu.

The trip is being organised by Camps International and to go I need to raise £3,990 (or almost £400 every month).

To kick start my fundraising plans please sponsor me to run, walk or cycle the length of Lake Titicaca in Peru, 190km or 118 miles.

I will be doing lots of other things also to raise the money like a silent auction in spring 2023, cat sitting, dog walking, organising a quiz night October 2024, so any donations, large or small will make a big difference.
