Hi my name is John Fitzsimons.

This November, I am volunteering in Bugisi in Tanzania to support my cousin, Sister Kate Costigan, who has served in the region since 1998 with the Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Apostles (OLA).

Sister Kate manages the Doctors4Africa Health Centre which provides essential services including maternity care, inpatient and outpatient treatment, and specialized eye clinics to surrounding rural communities.

Tanzania faces significant health challenges, with over 1.5 million people living with HIV/AIDS, and the Health Centre plays a vital role in addressing these needs.

All funds collected will go to the Bugisi community.
