Civil Engineering Project in Lobitos, Peru

Hi I'm Alex, a civil engineering student at Newcastle University. For the final part of my degree, I will be travelling to Lobitos, Peru in March to volunteer for 3 weeks. I will be volunteering with EcoSwell an amazing organisation that support vulnerable communities with sustainable development. I am so excited for this incredible opportunity to apply my civil engineering knowledge and experience to make a difference in the Lobitos community. I will be covering my own expenses and Newcastle University is paying for the flights so all donations will go directly to Ecoswell for project costs and to support their future endeavours. To raise money for this, I am running the Kingdom of Northumbria 54km ultramarathon in March. I am terrified for the challenge of running 54km along Northumberland's coastline and expect to be pushed to my physical and mental limits. Any donations of any size would be greatly appreciated.
