Hello everyone,

My name is Aoibhe Bolger and on the 5th of November I will be travelling to Kolkata, India to provide vision aid for the local people with the help of the Hope Foundation. The aim of this trip is to carry out eye tests checking kids, adults and elderly for prescriptions, eye diseases and providing them with treatments for any issues found. I’m raising money to benefit The Hope Foundation Limited, and any donation will help make an impact.

During the week we will set up clinics on the streets and anywhere we can find space both night and day to ensure as many people as possible can be seen. However, with this comes considerable costs. From the travel over to ensuring there is adequate funds to further our work we need your help to make this happen!

Your funds will go towards providing glasses for those who we find in need, organising surgery for those with conditions like cataracts to help restore their vision and to the optometry education programme in Kolkata.
